On this tab you can change several options, common for all applications:
Dialog options
- Save dialog size - size of the Open and Save As dialog boxes will be saved between application sessions. Available only for the operating systems with support of resizable Common dialog boxes. (Windows Me and higher).
- Save list style - style of the files and folders list will be saved between application sessions.
- Remember recently used folder - dialog box will be opened in the recently used folder.
Menu options
- Show "Options" in the menu - toggles appearance of the Options menu item.
- Show application icon in the tray - toggles appearance of the icon in the system tray.
- Show "Recent documents" button - toggles appearance of the "Recent documents" button in the Open and Save As dialog boxes.
Menu item path validation - this set of options allowes you to specify how Dialog Box Assistant treats menu items paths
- No path validation (recommended) - no path validation will be performed
- Don't list items with invalid path - if path to the menu item is invalid, this item won't be displayed in the menu
- Disable items with invalid path - if path to the menu item is invalid, this item will be disabled in the menu
- Ask to create a folder (Windows ME and higher) - this option is available only for the folders. If path to the folder is invalid, you'll be prompted to create a folder with the same path.
- Try to open parent folder - if path to the given menu item is invalid, Dialog Box Assistant attempts to open parent (up-level) folder. This option is available only for the folders.
Menu Icons - these options control how Dialog Box Assistant displays menu icons. Each option is self-descriptive: No icons in the menu, Show custom icons only, Show default and custom icons.
You can also define a keyboard shortcut you press to show the "Common Folders" menu.
To select a language of the program click Language button.
